Auction result well in line with expectations
The work New Classic Of Mountains And Seas Series 1 by Lu Ming-Te was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. The price achieved of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 17,315.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 160,000.00 – 200,000.00. Other works by Lu Ming-Te have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2010 the work Spring Celebration was auctioned for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 27,853.75).
