Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plant Circus - 2 by Lu Ming-Te was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. The price achieved of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 13,688.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lu Ming-Te - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spring Celebration, which sold at auction in October 2010 for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 27,853.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Plant Circus - 2 von Lu Ming-Te kam im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 13.688,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lu Ming-Te mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spring Celebration beobachtet, die im Oktober 2010 für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 27.853,75) versteigert wurde.
