Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lu Ji achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction, the work Landscape after Ancient Masters sold for HKD 81,900.00 (€ 9,110.24) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00.
