Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Geese and Plum Blossoms by Lu Ji was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. The price achieved of HKD 680,000.00 (€ 70,837.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lu Ji have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cranes On Pine in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 5,750,000.00 (€ 607,819.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Geese and Plum Blossoms von Lu Ji kam im Mai 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 680.000,00 (€ 70.837,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lu Ji auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cranes On Pine im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.750.000,00 (€ 607.819,42).
