Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cranes and Pine by Lu Ji was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. The price achieved of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 42,490.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lu Ji achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cranes On Pine in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 5,750,000.00 (€ 607,819.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cranes and Pine von Lu Ji kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 42.490,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lu Ji erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cranes On Pine im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.750.000,00 (€ 607.819,42).
