This artwork by Louis Toffoli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March 2009. In the Modern Art auction, the work Les Filets sold for EUR 7,013.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louis Toffoli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Les Bucherons, 1959, which sold at auction in June 2007 for EUR 17,349.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Louis Toffoli erzielte im März 2009 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Les Filets für EUR 7.013,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Louis Toffoli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Les Bucherons, 1959 beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für EUR 17.349,00 versteigert wurde.
