Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait Of An Officer, 1788 by Louis Sené was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,920.56). Admittedly, works by Louis Sené have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1795 in May 2020 with an auction result of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 11,794.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of An Officer, 1788 von Louis Sené kam im Dezember 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.920,56) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louis Sené auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1795 im Mai 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 11.794,92).
