The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,075.50 (€ 1,523.30), 54% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Louis Sené have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1795 in May 2020 with an auction result of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 11,794.92).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.075,50 (€ 1.523,30) und damit 54% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louis Sené auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1795 im Mai 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 11.794,92).
