This artwork by Louis Rémy Mignot achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in November 2018. In the American Art Online auction, the work View of the Cordilleras, near Cotopaxi sold for USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,286.85) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Rémy Mignot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River Scene, Ecuador in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 422,500.00 (€ 341,717.89).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Louis Rémy Mignot erzielte im November 2018 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion American Art Online wurde die Arbeit View of the Cordilleras, near Cotopaxi für USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.286,85) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Rémy Mignot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit River Scene, Ecuador im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 422.500,00 (€ 341.717,89).
