In the American Art | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work Louis Kronberg (American, 1872-1965) sold for USD 3,584.00 (€ 3,386.24) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louis Kronberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ballet in White, which sold at auction in September 2011 for USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,294.37).

Für andere Arbeiten von Louis Kronberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ballet in White beobachtet, die im September 2011 für USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.294,37) versteigert wurde.
