Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2001 Christies in New York held the auction American Paintings and Sculpture, which included the work Ballerina with Fan by Louis Kronberg. It changed hands for a price of USD 4,700.00 (€ 5,226.29) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Louis Kronberg have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2011 the work Ballet in White was auctioned for USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,294.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2001 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Paintings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ballerina with Fan von Louis Kronberg zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 4.700,00 (€ 5.226,29) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Louis Kronberg konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2011 die Arbeit Ballet in White für USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.294,37) versteigert.
