This artwork by Louis Kronberg achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in June 2007. In the The House Sale auction, the work Seated Nude sold for USD 3,600.00 (€ 2,662.72) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louis Kronberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ballet in White, which sold at auction in September 2011 for USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,294.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Louis Kronberg erzielte im Juni 2007 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The House Sale wurde die Arbeit Seated Nude für USD 3.600,00 (€ 2.662,72) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Louis Kronberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ballet in White beobachtet, die im September 2011 für USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.294,37) versteigert wurde.
