The work Les Portes - Circa 1889 by Louis Hayet was worth EUR 7,800.00 to a buyer in June 2014. This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art 2 at Artcurial and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Hayet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bord De L'Oise À L'Aube, Pontoise in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 158,500.00 (€ 128,194.76).
