Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans, Under the Command of Titus, A.D. 70 by Louis Haghe was auctioned at Bonhams in London in February 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,676.18). Admittedly, works by Louis Haghe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Interior Of St Peter'S, Rome in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 25,461.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans, Under the Command of Titus, A.D. 70 von Louis Haghe kam im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.676,18) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louis Haghe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Interior Of St Peter'S, Rome im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 25.461,60).
