A top price for Louis Haghe - as previously expected
In December 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art, which included the work Interior Of St Peter'S, Rome by Louis Haghe. The price achieved of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 25,461.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Interior Of St Peter'S, Rome is the most expensive artwork by Louis Haghe that we have observed at auctions so far.
