Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Interior of the cathedral at Sienna by Louis Haghe was sold in the British And Continental Watercolours And Drawings auction at Christies in London in October 2001. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,527.50 (€ 2,468.66). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Haghe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Interior Of St Peter'S, Rome in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 25,461.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Interior of the cathedral at Sienna von Louis Haghe wurde im Oktober 2001 in der Auktion British And Continental Watercolours And Drawings bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.527,50 (€ 2.468,66) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Haghe erzielen.
