This artwork by Louis de Caullery achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in October last year. In the Collections auction, the work Le Calvaire sold for EUR 11,970.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis de Caullery achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Crucifixion On Mount Calvary in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 114,500.00 (€ 155,586.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Louis de Caullery erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Collections wurde die Arbeit Le Calvaire für EUR 11.970,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis de Caullery erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Crucifixion On Mount Calvary im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 114.500,00 (€ 155.586,08).
