Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 34,310.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Louis de Caullery have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Crucifixion On Mount Calvary in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 114,500.00 (€ 155,586.08).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 34.310,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louis de Caullery auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Crucifixion On Mount Calvary im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 114.500,00 (€ 155.586,08).
