Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Louis de Caullery could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Masters Day Sale auction, the work A fireworks display at the Castel Sant' Angelo, Rome changed hands for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,342.89) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis de Caullery achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Crucifixion On Mount Calvary in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 114,500.00 (€ 155,586.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Louis de Caullery konnte im Juli 2017 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit A fireworks display at the Castel Sant' Angelo, Rome für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.342,89) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis de Caullery erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Crucifixion On Mount Calvary im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 114.500,00 (€ 155.586,08).
