Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Highland cattle in Glen Cannich by Louis Bosworth Hurt was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in March last year. The price achieved of GBP 1,147.50 (€ 1,360.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Bosworth Hurt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Loch Lubnaig And Ben Vane in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 55,200.00 (€ 82,085.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Highland cattle in Glen Cannich von Louis Bosworth Hurt wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.147,50 (€ 1.360,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Bosworth Hurt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Loch Lubnaig And Ben Vane im August 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 55.200,00 (€ 82.085,89).
