Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work An Enjoyable Morning by Lou Shibai was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 45,600.00 (€ 46,566.52). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lou Shibai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bird On The Rock, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 126,000.00 (€ 128,670.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit An Enjoyable Morning von Lou Shibai kam im April diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 45.600,00 (€ 46.566,52) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Lou Shibai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bird On The Rock beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 126.000,00 (€ 128.670,65) versteigert wurde.
