Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 20,160.00 (€ 17,812.33). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lorna Simpson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Day For Night in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 375,000.00 (€ 321,336.76).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 20.160,00 (€ 17.812,33) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lorna Simpson erzielen.
