Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Saint Tecla demands the cessation of the plague for the city of Este, after Giambattista Tiepolo by Lorenzo Baldissera Tiepolo was auctioned at Il Ponte in October 2018. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 850.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lorenzo Baldissera Tiepolo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of An Oriental, Head And Shoulders, Wearing A Bejewelled Blue Hat And A Red Fur-Trimmed Coat in July 2009 with an auction result of GBP 289,250.00 (€ 328,212.05).

Die Arbeit Saint Tecla demands the cessation of the plague for the city of Este, after Giambattista Tiepolo von Lorenzo Baldissera Tiepolo kam im Oktober 2018 bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 850,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lorenzo Baldissera Tiepolo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of An Oriental, Head And Shoulders, Wearing A Bejewelled Blue Hat And A Red Fur-Trimmed Coat im Juli 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 289.250,00 (€ 328.212,05).
