Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master and British Works on Paper Including drawings from the Oppé Collection, which included the work A Capriccio by Lorenzo Baldissera Tiepolo. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,279.06). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lorenzo Baldissera Tiepolo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of An Oriental, Head And Shoulders, Wearing A Bejewelled Blue Hat And A Red Fur-Trimmed Coat in July 2009 with an auction result of GBP 289,250.00 (€ 328,212.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master and British Works on Paper Including drawings from the Oppé Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Capriccio von Lorenzo Baldissera Tiepolo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.279,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lorenzo Baldissera Tiepolo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of An Oriental, Head And Shoulders, Wearing A Bejewelled Blue Hat And A Red Fur-Trimmed Coat im Juli 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 289.250,00 (€ 328.212,05).
