Sold at the upper estimate price
In October 2018 Il Ponte held the auction Old Master Drawings and Engravings, which included the work Monuments for the glory of the Eroes, from Giambattista Tiepolo by Lorenzo Baldissera Tiepolo. The auction ended at the price of EUR 1,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 900.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lorenzo Baldissera Tiepolo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of An Oriental, Head And Shoulders, Wearing A Bejewelled Blue Hat And A Red Fur-Trimmed Coat in July 2009 with an auction result of GBP 289,250.00 (€ 328,212.05).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2018 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Old Master Drawings and Engravings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Monuments for the glory of the Eroes, from Giambattista Tiepolo von Lorenzo Baldissera Tiepolo zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 900,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lorenzo Baldissera Tiepolo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of An Oriental, Head And Shoulders, Wearing A Bejewelled Blue Hat And A Red Fur-Trimmed Coat im Juli 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 289.250,00 (€ 328.212,05).
