Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Flowers by Loren MacIver for USD 478.00 (€ 398.50). This price was achieved in the auction THE DOROTHY C. MILLER COLLECTION at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Loren MacIver achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Moonlight in June 2016 with an auction result of USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,197.61).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Flowers von Loren MacIver für USD 478,00 (€ 398,50) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion THE DOROTHY C. MILLER COLLECTION bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Loren MacIver erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Moonlight im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.197,61).
