The work Joseph Beuys, British Vogue, February 1986 by Lord Snowdon was sold in the Photographies & Lothar Schirmer's Glamour Collection auction at Christies in Sydney in November this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,032.00 34% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lord Snowdon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work David Hockney, 1963, which sold at auction in September 2020 for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 8,959.13).

Die Arbeit Joseph Beuys, British Vogue, February 1986 von Lord Snowdon wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Photographies & Lothar Schirmer's Glamour Collection bei Christies in Sydney versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.032,00 und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Lord Snowdon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit David Hockney, 1963 beobachtet, die im September 2020 für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 8.959,13) versteigert wurde.
