In the American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture auction, the work Poipu Beach sold for USD 68,750.00 (€ 49,567.41) - well above the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lloyd Sexton Jr. - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calm Seas in a Hawaiian Cove, which sold at auction in August last year for USD 138,975.00 (€ 138,077.50).
