In August 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California Art, which included the work Farm in Hawaii by Lloyd Sexton Jr.. The »bidding war« ended at USD 27,812.50 (€ 23,569.92), 39% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Lloyd Sexton Jr. have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calm Seas in a Hawaiian Cove in August last year with an auction result of USD 138,975.00 (€ 138,077.50).

Im August 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Farm in Hawaii von Lloyd Sexton Jr. zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 27.812,50 (€ 23.569,92) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lloyd Sexton Jr. auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calm Seas in a Hawaiian Cove im August letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 138.975,00 (€ 138.077,50).
