Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2001 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work The Thames At Sunbury by Llewellyn Petley Jones. The price achieved of GBP 940.00 (€ 1,530.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Other works by Llewellyn Petley Jones have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2008 the work View from the artist's studio, Park Road, Richmond was auctioned for GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,884.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Thames At Sunbury von Llewellyn Petley Jones zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 940,00 (€ 1.530,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Llewellyn Petley Jones konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2008 die Arbeit View from the artist's studio, Park Road, Richmond für GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.884,37) versteigert.
