Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 625.00 (€ 760.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Llewellyn Petley Jones - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View from the artist's studio, Park Road, Richmond, which sold at auction in March 2008 for GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,884.37).
