Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Zoo'n das! zoo'n doos! weergaloos. by Lizzy Ansingh was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2005, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 180.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lizzy Ansingh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ontwaakt: Awaken in April 2004 with an auction result of EUR 40,630.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Zoo'n das! zoo'n doos! weergaloos. von Lizzy Ansingh im September 2005 bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 180,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lizzy Ansingh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ontwaakt: Awaken im April 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.630,00.
