In the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction, the work The new baby sold for EUR 4,780.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lizzy Ansingh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ontwaakt: Awaken in April 2004 with an auction result of EUR 40,630.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lizzy Ansingh erzielte im Februar 2004 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS wurde die Arbeit The new baby für EUR 4.780,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lizzy Ansingh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ontwaakt: Awaken im April 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.630,00.
