Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Roepende by Lizzy Ansingh was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 5,377.50 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Lizzy Ansingh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ontwaakt: Awaken in April 2004 with an auction result of EUR 40,630.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Roepende von Lizzy Ansingh kam im Oktober 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 5.377,50 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lizzy Ansingh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ontwaakt: Awaken im April 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.630,00.
