Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Het avontuur by Lizzy Ansingh was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2002. The price achieved of EUR 2,987.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lizzy Ansingh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ontwaakt: Awaken in April 2004 with an auction result of EUR 40,630.00.

Die Arbeit Het avontuur von Lizzy Ansingh kam im Oktober 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.987,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lizzy Ansingh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ontwaakt: Awaken im April 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.630,00.
