This artwork by Lizzy Ansingh achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in February 2004. In the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction, the work Delightfull dolls sold for EUR 1,912.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lizzy Ansingh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ontwaakt: Awaken in April 2004 with an auction result of EUR 40,630.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lizzy Ansingh erzielte im Februar 2004 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS wurde die Arbeit Delightfull dolls für EUR 1.912,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lizzy Ansingh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ontwaakt: Awaken im April 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.630,00.
