Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work You Like Me, Why Not Series No. 4 by Liu Wei was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 620,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 624,000.00 (€ 75,461.01). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Wei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Revolutionary Family Series (Triptych) in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 38,840,000.00 (€ 4,375,907.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit You Like Me, Why Not Series No. 4 von Liu Wei kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 620.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 624.000,00 (€ 75.461,01) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Wei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Revolutionary Family Series (Triptych) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 38.840.000,00 (€ 4.375.907,70).
