Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Listless by Liu Rentao for GBP 7,440.00 (€ 10,684.33). This price was achieved in the auction China Avant-Garde: The Farber Collection at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Liu Rentao have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2007 by the work Butterfly Dream at GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,245.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Listless von Liu Rentao für GBP 7.440,00 (€ 10.684,33) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion China Avant-Garde: The Farber Collection bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Liu Rentao wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2007 die Arbeit Butterfly Dream mit GBP 9.600,00 (€ 14.245,92).
