Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2009 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included this untitled work by Liu Rentao. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 12,021.35). Other works by Liu Rentao have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,245.92) in June 2007 for the work Butterfly Dream.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2009 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Liu Rentao zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 12.021,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Liu Rentao haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.600,00 (€ 14.245,92) im Juni 2007 für die Arbeit Butterfly Dream beobachtet.
