This artwork by Liu Bolin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in September 2019. In the More auction, the work Supermarket #3 - 2017 sold for EUR 1,170.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Bolin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red Hand in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 73,000.00 (€ 46,915.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 95 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Liu Bolin erzielte im September 2019 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion More wurde die Arbeit Supermarket #3 - 2017 für EUR 1.170,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Bolin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Red Hand im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 73.000,00 (€ 46.915,17).
