Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Untitled (shadows, woman with handbag) by Lisette Model was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in October 2020. The auction ended at the price of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,292.95), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lisette Model achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman with Veil, San Francisco, 1949 in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 31,200.00 (€ 45,912.91).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Untitled (shadows, woman with handbag) von Lisette Model wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.292,95) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lisette Model erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman with Veil, San Francisco, 1949 im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.200,00 (€ 45.912,91).
