Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Selection Of 10 Photographs From Portfolio 'Twelve Photographs', 1976 by Lisette Model was sold in the Photographies auction at Sothebys in Paris in November 2019. The price achieved of EUR 17,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lisette Model - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Woman with Veil, San Francisco, 1949, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 31,200.00 (€ 45,912.91).

Die Arbeit A Selection Of 10 Photographs From Portfolio 'Twelve Photographs', 1976 von Lisette Model wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Photographies bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 17.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lisette Model mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Woman with Veil, San Francisco, 1949 beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für GBP 31.200,00 (€ 45.912,91) versteigert wurde.
