Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Lisa Lapinski could be acquired at Christies in New York in December 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 500.00 (€ 415.90) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Lisa Lapinski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tobacco Camel (Ref black box). in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 3,096.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lisa Lapinski konnte im Dezember 2017 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 500,00 (€ 415,90) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lisa Lapinski auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tobacco Camel (Ref black box). im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.096,00.
