Admittedly, works by Lionel Dalhousie Robertson Edwards have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Meet of the Quorn in December 2000 with an auction result of USD 76,375.00 (€ 81,353.86).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.500,00 (€ 9.469,75) einen neuen Besitzer.
