Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,140.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lionel Dalhousie Robertson Edwards have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Meet of the Quorn in December 2000 with an auction result of USD 76,375.00 (€ 81,353.86).
