Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work From An Undeciphered World Ii (Diptych) by Lindy Lee was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in April 2001. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 1,292.50 (€ 742.23). Admittedly, works by Lindy Lee have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in August 2003 with an auction result of AUD 9,400.00 (€ 5,553.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit From An Undeciphered World Ii (Diptych) von Lindy Lee kam im April 2001 bei Christies in Melbourne zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 1.292,50 (€ 742,23) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lindy Lee auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im August 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 9.400,00 (€ 5.553,07).
