This artwork by Lina Bertucci achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in April 2006. In the Photographs auction, the work Diptych, 2001 sold for USD 7,200.00 (€ 5,703.42) - well above the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lina Bertucci; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Diptych sold at auction in July 2020 with the realized price of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,024.12).
