Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2017 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink, which included the work Four Auspicious Birds by Lin Yusi. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,563.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Lin Yusi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2015 the work Landscape was auctioned for HKD 94,400.00 (€ 11,028.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2017 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink durch, in der auch die Arbeit Four Auspicious Birds von Lin Yusi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.563,99) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Lin Yusi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2015 die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 94.400,00 (€ 11.028,44) versteigert.
