This artwork by Lin Yusi achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2014. In the The Enchantment of Neoteric Chinese Ink auction, the work I Want My Happiness sold for HKD 94,300.00 (€ 9,708.46) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 45,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lin Yusi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Landscape sold at auction in October 2015 with the realized price of HKD 94,400.00 (€ 11,028.44).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lin Yusi erzielte im Oktober 2014 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Enchantment of Neoteric Chinese Ink wurde die Arbeit I Want My Happiness für HKD 94.300,00 (€ 9.708,46) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 45.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Lin Yusi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 94.400,00 (€ 11.028,44).
