Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bats In Flight by Lin Onus was auctioned at Christies in Sydney in August 2004. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 15,535.00 (€ 9,016.50). Admittedly, works by Lin Onus have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Australian Breeark And Ngarak in May 2007 with an auction result of AUD 132,000.00 (€ 81,164.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bats In Flight von Lin Onus kam im August 2004 bei Christies in Sydney zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 15.535,00 (€ 9.016,50) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lin Onus auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Australian Breeark And Ngarak im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 132.000,00 (€ 81.164,35).
